What Manufacturers build a class C with Duramax Diesel?
Who builds a class C with Duramax ? Im not looking for a Super C

If asking about new construction...sorry, no.
The 2.8L "Duramax"  is in Chevy vans, but that is much too light for a motorhome. And no Diesel in any Cut-away chassis:

Even for Super C's, they have all gone to the Ford F550/Ram 5500, Freightliner S2, and International/Navistar cab chassis...no Duramax.
There has been buzz that for 2020, the brand new Silverado/Sierra 5500 (w/ Duramax6.6) might come to some brands, but I have not seen anything solid.

This factory page even lists a "Allison 6spd. Motorhome Transmission" available.

Problem with the diesels is mfg has made it easier to lift the cab for service. Not so for a class C motor home. I’d jump on a new PSD “C”

They are only available now in Ford truck cutaway Super C's, as the 6.7 wouldn't fit in the E-series vans.
The longer nose look isn't to everyone's taste, but engine access is much improved obviously.

What kind of service would necessitate the lifting of the cab? I remember the old PS had to remove the cab for repairing/replacing the EGR cooler but I don't think that is a problem anymore

In the new world of compartmentalized construction, the service center can rather easily lift the cab of the F-Series for some of the more serious maint. like work on the engine , especially the top end like calendar heads. Or an entire engine replacement is eased by cab removal
BUT, these services can still be done without cab removal - just like the old days.

Unfortunately, it appears that GM is just using a 1500 size cab on a stronger frame to make the 4500 / 5500 / 6500 series.
They add some body flaring to narrow it up for the cab from the wider front / back areas.
Personally, I would really like them to offer this product in a substantially larger cab; taller, wider, and much longer.
It has real potential as a super size B with more weight carrying capability than the sprinter chassis.
Of course 4 wheel independent suspension would also be nice.

We wanted the same thing, and found nothing new. Up until 2009 or so, Bigfoot made and great “C” with the Duramax and Allison transmission on the Chevy 5500 frame. It is the 40MH series, and some really nice ones at that. We posted an add on the Bigfoot owners site, and eventually found one in great shape with low miles. Buying this used motor home was a great move for us. If you can find a used Bigfoot, jump on it.

Chevy has introduced the new 4500, 5500, and 6500 chassis for 2019, however I have yet to find one an RV manufacturer use one for a new RV (yet).

Dynamax does a dodge diesel class c and i believe they do a ford not sure on that. Mercedes in the small stuff and the transit ford in the small stuff.
