What size bottle jack?
DW and I have a Jayco Greyhawk that is 14,500 lbs. gross weight. I want to use a bottle jack to raise the frame slightly then place a jack stand under the frame (2 in front and 2 in back). What size bottle Jack would I need to accomplish this?

Without knowing the individual wheel weights, you can't be sure. A 2 ton jack might work. Anything bigger surely will.

Personally I would use a 12ton jack. While you won't need all the lifting power it's tall enough and sturdy enough that you won't need a ton of blocking to reach and lift the frame.
It's also about the most cost effective jack on the market. Why take a chance with an under rated or marginally rated jack when you can buy one that will more than do the job for less than $50.00
Bottle Jacks + Bottle Jack Stands | Jacks: Bottle Jacks, Hydraulic Jacks + Service Jacks | Automotive | Northern Tool + Equipment
We have 3-12 ton jacks that get used for the motorhome, the truck, and various projects around the house.

Hikerdogs. The taller idea is great! I just got rid of most of my wood blocks and got plastic levelers.

With that job you can likely get by with most any jack over 4 tons.. My choice I'd use either my 8 ton or more likely my 12 ton if I were helping you.. You see the 8 ton is an armstrong jack,,,, If your arm is strong....
(You pump it)
But my 12 ton is a jack-jack.. You hook it up to the nice sears huffer-puffer (Air Compressor) push the lever and it goes PUFF, PUFF, PUFF, PUFF and up goes the piston. Just like the 8 Tonner but without all that hand pumping...
You still need a strong arm though.. That sucker is HEAVY.

I would use the Armstrong type because I don't think I want to haul a compressor around. Thanks!

A buddy of mine uses 4, 5 ton jacks. A little pressure on each corner and he is all set.
Since the OP is not looking to really holding anything up, the jacks will do the job of the stands, take the wiggle out.
