Bumper to bumper 23ft, has everything you could want except someone else to set the beds up at night and setup the table in the morning. Can't have everything unless you go a lot bigger. Not much different to handle than a van.

I am new to iRV2 so this response may be dated.
I just traded from a 2004 Monaco Diplomat 40 ft 4 slider to a 2006 Winnebago Assent 26 ft. single slide. Although I enjoyed the space of the 40 ft. the comvenience and menuverability of the Assent is easy to like.

We have a Tioga 31M, 2005, with Banks power. It is nearly 32 feet, two slides. We like it very much, but are getting ready to sell it because we wanted a bigger motorhome, diesel pusher, for more full time travels with more storage. As an extended stay camper, it is great! We have owned it 1 1/2 years, stayed in it 170 nights, and traveled 26,000 miles, towing either a newer VW Beetle or a newer Toyota 4Runner. It is a great starter motorhome for a retired couple.

Just got our first ever "new to us" 28 foot, Class C Motorhome this past week. Had a short weekend trip and know that we are really going to enjoy the convenience of having everything right there with us. No more jumping from the truck to the trailer in rainstorms, etc. Even the cat loves it.

We've got an older 26'. Big enough, but not too big I don't feel uncomfortable driving it.

RV Wanna-be here

I can't purchse until I sell my house
Anyone looking for a great home in Central Michigan??

Because I want mobility, access to places that the bigger rigs can't go and I don't want a toad,
I am looking at rigs no bigger than 24ft

My short list consists of pre-loved Class C's (without a slide) and includes;

Lazy Daze 23.5 Rear Lounge
Born Free
Big Foot
Phoenix Cruiser

1995 Fleetwood Jamboree Ralleye is 30.5 according to the manual. It measures 31 feet bumper to bumper. No slides.

32 1/5 feet nose to tail. Born Free President (2006). We looked long and hard at several Cs but this was the one that met our individual needs best.

If I were to live on the road and did a fair amount of winter camping we would have gone with the Bigfoot instead. But are goal is to get OUT of the snow and cold; not camp in it so a 3 seasons RV was a better choice for us.

Born Free 26' Rear Side Bed. Big enough for a family of four to spend a couple weeks in it, but small enough that we can go on overnight trips/day trips without a toad.

Only way I could afford an RV was to buy a 16 yr old model. But it's a beauty!

We are looking to down size to a 29' class C.
Either a Dynamax Isata or a Jayco Melbourne.
