What type chassis

Hey guys I have recently acquired a 2001 Thor Four Winds 5000 class c with the 8.1 Vortec engine. I was just wondering what the chassis is called as I see where everyone is referring to theirs as a W-20 or 32 and so on. Also I need to know so I can find some replacement mirrors for the doors. Class C motorhomes use what is called a cutaway chassis made by Chevy, GMC or Ford usually. Same as used on small buses, cargo vans and other commercial applications. Try Googling Class C mirrors and you will get some info. The W-20 and other with similar W- designation were manufactured by Workhorse.

Most likely GM/Chevy provided the mirrors with the cab/chassis. I would take the VIN number of the chassis (the one on the driver side of the windshield) and go to a GM/Chevy dealer and let them look it up.

There are are all kinds and types of mirrors
class c rv side mirrors - Bing images
Chances are they are aftermarket (Velvac as one example) and not OEM.
As for your chassis you probably have a G 3500 or possibly G 4500 if they made one that year.
