When did Ford go to the 6spd tranny??

Just got a 2016 Class C (Forester 3011DSF). Has the V10 engine and a 6spd tranny. Just wondering if anyone knows when Ford started using this tranny in the RVs?

2016 is the first year. Some of the earlier 2016 coaches still have the 5 speed.

Yep, it's called a "split year" rig. Built a 2016 "box" on top of a 2015 chassis. Perfectly legal under Federal Law. But something to be aware of when looking at a particular rig.

Hmmm, would the 6spd go from D to 4 (gear shift selector) or would that be the 5 spd?

To answer my own question... Yes, it is the 6spd tranny.
