We never really looked very hard for sheets to fit, I'm pretty sure DW just uses regular flat sheets and just tucks them under the edges. Probably queen or king size I'm guessing.
I'm curious what everyone else does now that you mention it.
It is possible to get a flanel flat sheet larger then your mattress and make a fitted sheet for the bed. You could go to a fabric store and get some sewing instruction on how it is done. Or find a sewing circle in your town to see if anyone can help you. Flanel is great for summer and winter. I would also suggest a heated mattress pad under the bedding. Warm and toasty during winter.
