Where to repair

I have a check engine light and a cold start (running issue) with my RV. Rather than use a local RV store where do you folks take your RV - since it's just a 1 ton G3500 van?

For Chassis stuff like check engine, brakes, even vehicle lights, I'd go to the local chassis manufacturer, in your case, Chev or GMC. I use my RV Service for RV stuff like plumbing, house electrics, and body work like compartment doors.

IOW, a Chevy Dealer that has big enough bays?

Call first and see if they can handle your rig.

I have a local independent repair shop that also does RV engine/chassis work. They do all my repairs and servicing. And do it well at a reasonable cost.

For house repairs I go to local RV shop.
