Which windshield shade/sun cover?

Looking for a friend...they want a shade that covers the windshield and two side windows on there Class C with a 2005 Ford E450 chassis. The one they want is held in place with flaps of material that go inside the door when closed. Which one do you guys recommend?

Why not buy a tarp from Harbor Freight and cut one to fit? It's not a complicated thing to do and will last a long time. If wanted, they could fold and sew or glue the raw edges to make it more finished looking.

tankcj-

The prior owners of our former Class C coach made their own covers out of Reflectix material, cut to fit the windshield and windows. It worked well enough. We stowed the covers in the toad when not needed for the coach. They're thin enough to slide between the over-cab bunk halves, but we had removed our bunk and couldn't find another convenient place inside the RV to store the covers.

I think I bought a Camco all but the same as above. Fits and relatively EZ to install.

I have the ADCO for mine and love it. It has the 2 straps that go over the door, cutouts for the mirrors with straps and a big magnet sewn in the bottom to keep it tight to the door.

I made my own that are attached with very strong magnets from the outside. They were not that much effort and work very well - have never blown off in strong winds. Details are here. I have to admit that I stole the idea from MagneShade (I have never seen a negative review about their products but do not own any myself).

I made ours out of Reflectix also. Has the added benefit of insulating the windows as well. What was left over I used to line the refer doors to protect from can marks and add a little more insuation.

Magne Shade is what we have for our coach but they didn't want to spend that much. They went with the ADCO.

I have the Adco for the Ford E-series you list. It was used for 2months and is in perfect shape. I bought it 7 months ago and then sold that RV for a different one on the sprinter chassis. I replaced with one of these covers that fits my new coach. PM me and I will send it for free for the cost of shipping. They are about $50 new from Amazon. How's that for a friendly Christmas present from a stranger?

We had either the Adco or Camco for our '97 Type C MH. But we traded it off in '98 for a Type A so I don't remember the brand anymore.

Wow!.. That is very kind of you but they already ordered (and received) the ADCO one from Amazon. Maybe someone else will see this post and be able to use it.
