I am thinking of adding a tach, water temp and trans temp gauge to my 2003 E450 class C. I would appreciate any install tips or suggestions. Thanks in advance for all replies.

The first thing I did was add a trans temp gauge and tach to our new to us '99 Jambo.
This shows what they would look like:

I i-net shopped around for a better price on the pod, and went with GOOD brand gauges.
Spray paint the pod to match the decor. I had my wiring done by a good Ford shop.
Knowing how hot the trannie is, and watching the shift rpm = piece of mind.

I looked for 4 years for a Tach for my V-10 E=450 - no one makes them in the aftermarket. I finally went with ScanGauge (http://www.scangauge.com) and it provides everything you're asking for except transmission temps - just $130.00. I LOVE IT!!

Just ordered the triple pod, gauges and tach from egauges, can't wait to get em.

Eddielee, I checked out the scangauge. It looks like a very good product at a good price but I like the appearance of the triple pod and autometer gauges.

Autometer will be setting up my new tach for 10 cylinders. Have to ship it too them and pay $25.

YJBill - When I talked to autometer they wanted $102.00 for their Tach and another $100.00 + shipping to add the resisters to make it work on a V-10. That was 3 years ago and they were the only ones that would even "make" one for the v-10. ScanGuage ain't pretty but it gives so much info that I couldn't pass on it. Years ago I built an optical triggered Tach for a small diesel I was running - worked great. I was seriously considering installing that one on my V-10 until I ran across ScanGauge. I'm a happy camper - glad I didn't! JMHO....Eddielee
