Winnebago slide out and generator

The slide on my driver's side Winnebago class C isn't working, and blinks 17 times at the control panel. The driver's side slide works, however. My generator, which is also on the driver's side, isn't even turning on. Any ideas?

if the gen cranks but not run, you maybe low on fuel in RV fuel tank. needs somewhere between 1/3 to 1/2 full tank to continue to run. if not cranking, check for fuses, big fuse probably 150 AMP TYPE.

slide is probably needing to be reprogramed. download trouble shooting from manufacture's site.

Generators are normally powered by the house batteries. Have you checked the voltage on the house battery bank?

Some slides only operate if the engine is running, the vehicle is in Park, and the emergency brake is set. But not all are created equal - which is why you should always post the builder, model, and year of your coach.

Thank you Dan and Luvtabs for responding. My Winnebago Access 31J has always allowed me to open slides with just the house batteries enabled. The rear one extends with no problems. I am planning on a calling Winnebago on Monday to get a better explanation of the 17 blinks low voltage actuator??

As far as the generator and the possible large 150 amp fuse possibility. Where would that fuse be?

Thanks.

sorry, no idea where that fuse would be. On my fleetwood 24D it is in the forward basement compartment on passenger side. It's a black painted wood box with pop off cover. I'm told, the location is very near the house battery comnpartment.
