Winnebago View Bed

Here's a question I know someone must have a solution for:

2009 Winnebago View 24P with a sofa. My issue is that the inflatable mattress is very uncomfortable for me. I'm 6'3" 230lbs. Here's what I've been looking to do for a solution: Have a foldable mattress that fits the frame and as a bonus add a topper for comfort. I've been unable to find the size for my bed. Next I've thought about rolling up a 6" memory foam mattress and stow it on the top of my bunk bed at the back.

Has anyone done this? Please help as I love my View but need to resolve this issue.

I went to American Furniture Warehouse and bought a memory foam mattress for a sofa bed for $150. I also bought a regular sofa bed mattress for $25, it was one that someone replaced when they bought a sofa and upgraded. Both were new and packaged. I store them in the overcab sleeping area when not in use.

Hey southkonalopaka, are you able to lift the cab over bunk when you are driving with the weight of the mattress on it?

No, but trade off is worth it.

We had the 24V-took out the Sofa Bed, put in 2 Recliners

Did not like the Sofa part or the Bed part. Both alternatives were terrible.
