Winnebago View/Navion 24M discontinued

I own a 2009 View 24H. I want to upgrade to a new 24M but Winnebago has stopped making it. Does anyone know why? Slow sales? Any issues with that big slide? Any plans to offer similar in the future? I've been looking for a very clean, low mileage, 2015 or 2016, but not a lot out there.

You are just like us. We like the 24H layout and the M is the same model we would upgrade to. Several folks didn't like the air mattress sofa in the M and changed that out. Besides that easy to fix item, I think it is a great layout.

We were fortunate to have ordered our 2016 Navion M before they discontinued the model. We ordered ours May of 2015 and picked it up in September of last year at Lewis in Ohio. One of the last ones manufactured.

I'm not sure I would have bought any other floor plan as we absolutely love the open floor space of this unit.

They did away with the air mattress some time ago. We do use a self inflating mattress pad on the fold out bed and find it quite comfortable.

Ours has the profile roofline with a fantastic front picture window and we also avoided the large front vent in favor of a Fantastic fan vent with remote.

I saw on one website that Winnebago may do a major redesign and bring that floor plan back some time later.

Looking at a 2015 View 24M

Thought we wanted a used View, with a permanent bed, but looking at a reduced price model (guess cause they were discontinued) this weekend with low miles.. Any issues with the bed? I understand that an inflatable topper may help? Also any other issues we should look at. It sleeps 5 ..... 4 adults? and 1 child? Thank you in advanced. Love the openess of the unit, so if dh falls asleep on the couch watching TV, I guess I'll be the one climbing to the upper cab!
