winter refridgerator use

Good morning everyone. A little bit of help please.
We are in New England and the RV is winterized. My wife wants to use the refer to store some food for a week or so . Since the days and nights vary from 40 above to almost zero will it do any harm to plug the RV in and turn the refer on?
I do not have the heat on in the rig. I assume that when the temp goes below freezing the refer will not kick on? And that if it warms up it will?
I do not want to harm the refer. We do often use it for storage in warmer weather and have had no problems.
Thanks
Don

Good evening don, we have use refrigerator during the Holidays for pie's and fixings for meals. You will not have a problem and the box temps will keep a even temp level.
Not necessary to use furnace unless if you have guest's staying over.
