It will use more LP (obviously) but it will be able to heat your water better as well if that's the route you decide to go.
I looked at the Aqua-Hot products and they only have one LP model available. The problem is it is designed more of Class A's and the water heater is a secondary feature since it is actually a heat pump for climate control. It's a nifty design though.

We have a instant water heater in our Cambria 27k. The previous poster is correct in that for showers, you won't use the cold water at all but it will deliver 110 degree water all day long. Having said that, my wife would prefer we had a traditional tank because she likes really hot water. I'd be fine with body temp water. It does use a considerably smaller amount of gas though.
