Hi Y'all,
As a soon to be full-timer, I'm compiling a list of places to go, see, and do. Where is your favorite spot?
Thanks,
Barb & Sena

Barb & Sena, Why Myrtle Beach, South Carolina of course! Come and see our new Sky Wheel and Ocean Front Boardwalk. The wheel should be ready by May. Explore the miles of open beach front and the excellent beach front campgrounds that are the heart of RV tourism on the Grand Strand. I expect that you will have a wonderful time here and Myrtle Beach is definitely on the list of the top RV destinations in the country.

Our great National Parks - you can't go wrong with any of them & they are a must-see if you're going to be full-timing.

Barb & Sena, I gotta agree with Driver, why, because we love the beach and Myrtle Beach, especially Surfside Beach. We wound up there by accident 9 yrs ago looking for some place to go and camp close to the beach. We stayed at Oceanlakes and have gone every year since. I have found that a lot of the "Camping area's" are a little pricey, especially in the mountain area for their entertainment. The best part...........the beach is free. BTW, Oceanlakes has been chosen campground of the year several times in the last few years, I have no affilation with this mentioned campground, just a satisfied camper. Good luck and travel safe.

Thanks everyone for your good ideas. We'll try to check them all out. I have another question -- what are your favorite oddball sites to visit? Not destinations, just side trips to catch when you are already nearby. World's largest _____ ? , etc. anyone?
I'm watching a TV program about the Georgia Guidestones near Nuberg, GA. i have put them on the top line of that list.
Happy travels,
Barb & Sena

My favorite location, my next stop. I have not been disapointed yet. Can't wait to get there.
One of my favorite spots is Haulover Canal by kayak, located in the Cape Canaveral National Seashore. Another must stop is Webers Steak House in Daytona, FL. Best Prime Rib I think I have ever had & consitently very good. A small place with a basic salad bar & great steaks. If I am heading north or south on I-95 near dinner time I will detour for this place. As stated above I have no affiliation either.
