Hi, I think I was told that FMCA has a list of Elks lodges with camping available. Can any of you tell me if that is true? If so, maybe our next membership needs to be in FMCA Thanks, HarveyP

I bought the campground books through the Elks. The local club told me where to send for them.

Thanks Beabop! I am a new Elk, and had heard of those books, but I thought someone had told me FMCA also has a comprehensive list. Still waiting to see if anybody else had heard that or knows the answer. HarveyP

There are 4 books for the USA. Last time I bought them they were $14.00 each. There is one for Canada, also.

Or you can look up locations at http://www.elks.org/lodges/
and click on facilities to see if a lodge allows RVs to overnight. Search by state.

I have found that not all lodges post their facilities info. I have called several and found they did allow RV overnighting.

To; Dextry,

In New England, very few of the BPOE, lodges have RV parking, but some have room for a short stay, a phone call will provide all info.

Like must not-for -profit, you must be a member to enjoy these facilities.

Looking thru the national list, they have a lot to offer and some are in prime locations for us.

Always something going on, socials, dances, buffets, lunches and of course bingo.

I,m trying to get the printed directory to carry with us , but have'nt found right info.

Thanks-- Aime--

There is an FMCA chapter for RVers who are Elks - see FMCA Elks

I'm told the chapter does have a travel guide, but you will have to contact a member to find out how to get it. [I'm not a member myself, so can't help you.]
