Question FMCA Number does not begin with F

Does anyone have or know why a FMCA number starts with an I rather than an F. I have asked people in my local chapter but an answer is not forth coming.
I will call national but was curious if there is anyone else with a different letter than F

Not sure but as I recall the letter indicates a class of membership, Like "D" for Dealer,, Not sure what I would be unless it is a single camper (Individual)

You will have to check with them to be sure.

I Memberships

'I' memberships are those given away by RV Dealerships. Anytime in the following year an 'I' membership may renew the membership and recieve an 'F' membership.

Thanks, that makes sense as Lazydays gave us the membership.

I posted the question on the FMCA forum. See post #8 by FMCA Staff

http://community.fmca.com/topic/5126...-instead-of-f/

It is "Introductory." As stated by MBroyer it is given by dealerships at time of purchase.
