I just set ours in the cavity between the windshield and the dash on the far side (passenger side) and prop it in place with a piece of soft sponge rubber. This works good if your dash drops down sharply to where it meets the windshield like mine does.

I like the idea of the suction cups better though. Next time I see some of those I'll pick up a couple.

Bob,
I picked the suction cups up at a place called "Hobby Lobby," in Texas.

What ever you do, don't do what I did. When I mounted the FMCA plate to the front of my coach, I glued it to the gelcoat with some adhesive that I had. It was not silicone.

The adhesive that I used melted the gelcoat. The FMCA plate is still attached after 5 years but there will be a real problem if I ever remove it.

The Plak-R is what I have. You just have to be mindfull that it's there when ascending/descending the ladder.

I do not have a rear ladder so I do not display my FMCA plate. Have screens on front when a campground so they do not see if in the front windshield.

Hi

I mounted one of the FMCA plaques on the rear roof ladder using plastic cable ties and on the front in the grille area also using black plastic cable ties..2 or 3 of them together made it long enough. They have never moved and if I have to take them off for some reason I can just cut them off with scissors. Sorry no pics but just run the cable ties through the holes in the fmca plates.

On all my prior coachs I attached it to ladder with tie straps, then I found brackets at a Newmar rally and used them for years. Coach I now have has no latter and screens prevent seeing it when at campground. So I just keep it in basement.

Suction cups worked great until I upgraded the front TV then I mounted it to the front of the TV cabinet just below the shaded area of the windshield. Also a great place to display my masonic emblems. They both are clearly visible.

We bought the Kiley Mold ladder brackets and they work fine. Not in your way when you get on the ladder and fit closer to your coach wall without having to attach to it.
