Some of us are still around Capt. Dan. It's been warm here in MO but turned cooler today. No snow for Christmas is what the weather people are sticking with. Thinking seriously about heading out next month for points south and west. Perhaps Arizona, the Quartzsite area or maybe Yuma for a couple of months.

Anyway, stay warm and keep the FMCA home fires burning.

Sorry to be latebut my computer is giving me a bunch of trouble connecting and My brother-in-law said I should back up all my files and reformat the drive and then install the software programs and I did,And it is still playing games so I lost a day and a half for nothing. The other way to look at it is that I've eliminated the computer as a source of the problem. Iwill be glad when the contract is up in the fall and I may break the contract before if they don;t find and fix the problem.
Hope you had a Happy holiday and I wish I could pack myself into a bag and go with garydown to Az. but my sister said yesterday that it was in the 20 therein downtown Tucson!? I has been cold enough for her to dig out her warm winter coat that was last used when in the poconos in Pa.We didn't get any snow here and it rained with some sleet and/or freezing rain.Ugh!! My brother-in-law in Denver was bragging about the [White Christmas} and I was about to pull him through the phone and give him a little reality adjustment!! We did have a good family Christmas, But you still miss Mom and Dad. This is the first without both. With two newer grandchrildren for them to [play with] you would think they would have stuck around but that is the way things go.
Bob,Earl and Jan,and anyone else on the forum, try and have a great holiday and a even better New Year!! Dan

Aw shucks!! I got the answer I was a hop'en not to get. Alltel in there greatist wisdom strung me around till the air-card was out of warranty.Bah-HumBug!! Now DonavonP got a new computer for Christmas and he, yep,you guessed it,He needs a new air-card as they don't have the old card slot anymore. Now we both need to get new aircards!!I just can't wait to see what is gong to happen next!
I posted over at tech as to what this card is suppose ta look like and what card slot it takes, ect. DonavoP said something like $80. for the card after the new year, and $175 I think right now. I need to find out what company he's with as I'm going to switch! Hey Alltel ya scrooge!! Take that!

I have had some problems with the air-card I had but they did deside to honor the claim and gave me a new air-card. They actually gave me a up-grade card so I ended up in better shape.now if I can get the RV into shape I will have a Happy New Year! Check you later, Capt.
