Anybody going to the Redmond, OR rally in August?
We are thinking about it but are still undecided. We have not attended one yet and are on the fence as to if we really want to get jammed in with some many coaches. Our tanks are not huge so DW is concerned about filling the tanks too soon.

We are unable to make this rally. We did our first FMCA rally in 2006 and loved it. We did our 2nd on in Perry, Ga this year and loved it. They have trucks to pump tanks out. You can always leave early if you do not like it, or want to get out to fill tanks up. Everyone is so friendly and there are is an awesome amount of things to take in and learn. I hope you decide to go and give it a try.

We are still talking about it but have not yet decided. We are still getting the hang of RVing and have not had much time to get out and actually use it as much as we wanted to. Going to a rally for several days and trying to make do on only what we can carry in our water tanks and perhaps no AC makes us not want to try this just yet. Maybe once we get some more time under our belts we will feel more comfortable with limited hookups for extended periods of time.

Steve, I see that you are from Utah. We were there a couple of years ago. Beautiful State. One of our favorite states to visit.

jjoe,
Utah is a beautiful place with lots of geology and erosion effects. We are just now starting to really explore it and we have lived here for several years. We are new to RVing and are still feeling our way along the way as we gain experience and confidence.
I lived in North Carolina for a few years; in the south western area near Rockingham. I like the beach but got tired of the humidity and the bugs. We are planning on being in the Greensboro area later in early October.

Steve,
You can have a honey wagon dump your tanks and refill your water at the FMCA rallly every day if you want. It costs $10 but it's there if you need it.
