By now all of you have the latest edition of the magazine. On pages 36-39, there in info concerning the MEDEX replacement, FMCAssist. This is a brief summary and I urge you to call Member services at 800-543-3622 and request a copy which will be available after the first of the new year. You can also eMail them at membership@fmca.com.

FMCAssist is much more complex than the old MEDEX and does provide more benefits.

I read the article and couldn't tell if they still provide assistance in getting the motorhome back if I become unable to drive it.

Yes, they do. $5,000 limit and they pay for fuel expenses. There are conditions for this service.

What do you mean if you become unable, I'm told that you are unable now. Merry Christmas JIM

Would you not want to get the info from FMCA before calling the underwriter to get specific answers? What would you ask if you don't have a starting point?

The starting point is the FMC article that you have seen, and it states to call Global.

Jim,
Don't fret. You still have ONE friend that will assist you, just call him.

And to all, I'm in the phone book, call if you are in the area and need assistance.

Well, I received the policy and like most insurance policies it never says anything plainly. It appears if I break my left leg within 3" above my knee on a Thursday with a waning moon in a month that ends with a "r" at a place more than 337.7 miles and less than 338.4 miles I may be covered if I contact them within 3 minutes of said bone breakage. If I break my right leg apparently I don;t have aleg to stand on. It was like reading a extended warranty except the warranty company will at least tell you whats not covered.

To add insult to injury, the paper was so thin it didn't even make a good fire starter.

Has anybody figured it out?

Sounds like you don't have a pot to stand over either!
