We have joined FMCA and we are wanting to get started meeting up with a group. We will be spending the next 6 months in SLC, UT. I tried to contact a group there and got no response. Is there a group near there that may be doing some prime socializing?

Thanks for any input. We are looking forward to meeting others...

Actually we found 2 listed. No response from either. One did not answer the phone, the other no response to an email. I was just wondering if other FMCA'ers were out there. I am sure they are here somewhere....

Since its kinda cold up there they may have come down to where it's warmer for the winter. They need to check the messages and get back in contact with you. I belong to the Tucson Drifters and they all get out of town when it gets too hot. It is hard to get ahold of them in the summer months. Most likely it's the same up there. Capt.

We are new to FMCA too and live in the SLC area. I have contacted a couple of the local chapters but they seem to no longer exist. The only one with web site gave up the URL last year so it is a dead link. The other is just an email and I have not had a response. Maybe I need to start my own chapter here. Well, maybe after I retire later this year.

With the cold weather I wish you luck finding others to hook up with. Our RV is in the driveway waiting for me to finish installing a few things before our trip south in March.

Drop me a line and maybe we can get together for a while.

SteveR,

We are ready to meet anytime. We will be back in Utah next Monday and our rig will go to storage for a while. We would love to meet up and see if any other FMCAers are about.

I will email you and we'll see if we can arrange a meet.

JEFF: To send a PM you place your cursor on the receipiants screen name, and left click once. The fourth choice on the drop down menu is "invite xxxx to a private topic". Then you type your message, just like a post, but it only goes to xxxxx, not the open forum.

FWIW, I applaud you guys trying to stir up some activity out there. Good Luck. Ed

Jeff,

I sent you an email today. Hope we can find a way to meet. We would love to talk with other RVers in person as we are very very new at this whole thing.
