Do FMCA members get points or discounts or ataboys for referring a member? If so let me know and the first response gets credit for it, if ya want it. I'll hold off joining until I hear from someone.
Thanks
Ed

From the FMCA Web site

FMCA offers these incentives for recruiting new members:
Merchandise coupons
For each new family member recruitment, FMCA members will be rewarded with a $10 coupon that can be redeemed for free FMCA logo merchandise or Camping World merchandise. FMCA merchandise is available at FMCA international conventions and area rallies or online at the FMCA Store.
Pay your membership dues
You can also use your merchandise coupon toward payment of your FMCA membership dues. This policy applies to membership recrutment coupons issued after Jan. 1, 2009. Coupons issued prior to Jan. 1, 2009, are not be valid for payment of dues but still can be redeemed for FMCA or Camping World merchandise.
There is no limit to the number of coupons that can be used when paying your dues, so the more your recruit, the less you will have to pay toward your membrship renewal.
Details about redeeming the new coupons toward payment of your dues will be included on the face of the coupons. Coupons that are earned as a reward for signing up new members are good for two years after they have been awarded.
Lapel pins
Free lapel pins are presented when members reach certain recruitment levels, starting with 10 member families, and then at intervals of 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175 and 200 members.
Watches
Members receive free his-and-her watches upon reaching the 100-member level.
Incentive for campgrounds and dealers
Campgrounds and dealers that recruit new members to FMCA can enroll in a recruitment program to receive a reward equal to the $10 recruitment reward that family (F) members receive.
For more information about member recruitment, contact the Membership Department via e-mail at membership@fmca.com This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , or call (800) 543-3622.

If anyone wants to use me for a referral to join FMCA you are more than welcome to do so. It is a great organization and the Medix benefit is worth the dues. The yearly dues goes up April 1st so you can call this number and get in for the lower price.
1-800-543-3622 and ask for the membership department.

Thanks everyone, I've joined now and am looking forward to the many benefits of the organization. Seems like a great club to be affiliated with.

Is it $45 to join? Or is there a discount rate available? I'm trying to adhere to my new Capital Preservation Strategy, LOL. Thanks Mike, Issaquah WA

I think the only discount rate would be for buying multiple years at one time.

Mike
The $45.00 is for the first year. It is composed of $10.00 Initiation fee, $30.00 for one year membership and $5.00 for a one year subscription to the FMCA Magazine. Your second year is $35.00. On your first year you get those coach identification emblems.

FMCA does have a web site --- www.fmca.com. At the site you can find out all kinds of information including chapters in your area and a full list of membership benefits.

Good luck and safe travels

I just renewed for multiple years. its a worthwhile organization located on the East side of Cincinnati, OH not to far from my stick house. I haven't been there, but I think they still have a FREE campground (about 15 spots I think) for members to visit if your ever in the area. glad you signed up.

be safe in your travels.

Doing a little reading and I noticed that you get campsites discount. How much discount do you get, 10%, 50%?

Most are 10%. But there are not a lot of FMCA campsites. Good Sam has tons at 10% so I belong to both.
