Looking for former owner, I have their papers..
Our new to us 2002 Dutch Star 4097 came equipped with a surprise. Is my 7th or 8th motorhome in my life, I always think this one will be the last....
I often wonder (after the fact) 'Did I get everything out of the one I just sold?'
We all have discovered little hiding places as we use our coaches. I will hide everything from money, guns, ammo, important documents, stuff like that. Primarily from the kids, grandkids, thieves as well. I am famous for hiding stuff from myself.
We are looking for the former owner of our coach. They 'hid' a file box stuffed with every important paper they ever needed. Birth certs, marriage certs, motorcycle titles, taxes, you name it. We have done every kind of internet search possible. Called every similar name telephone number. Nothing. They are just like us. Sold all the addresses, went full-time and are somewhere trying to rebuild their paper lives. I have it all for them.
Doug and Lori Nason. New Hampshire, Texas, Massachusetts, Boulder City, NV.
They are someone's neighbor now. Help me return their stuff. None of their addresses are theirs anymore.
Thanks in advance.
Michael.

I don't suppose their old FMCA number is still with the coach? If so, you could trace that through FMCA, they'd have a current address, if the membership is current.

A search on the last name in the members directory of FMCA did not result in any information. It may be archived and a call or email to FMCA my get different results.
Good luck. Commendable what you are trying to do.
I'll post on the FMCA site in a little while.
Happy trails.
Edited: Posted on FMCA. Just a little more dissemination will not hurt.
Edited: A little research revealed the following:
Douglas L Nason, age 81
Places:
Georgetown MA
Newburyport, MA
Livingston, TX
Alton, NH
Associations:
Lois Nason
Linda Nason
E Nason
Sarah Nason
Lori Nason
You may wish to contact Escapee's in Livingston and see if they have a contact number or address. Mr. Nason is up there in age. (I should talk!) There is also a Junior Douglas.
Edited: Bing maps is showing a motorhome in that location. I don't know how old the Bing satellite data is.
Call sheriff "Joe."

They haven't posted since September but were logged in last week. Hopefully they'll respond. Well done Wayne.

Hello All!
The Nason's paperwork travelled over 35k miles with us all this time, hoping for some news. Last August, we had cleaned out our last storeroom and sold our last house, and had a big pile of stuff to be shredded. I included the Nason files in that pile as well.
Unfortunately, not the happy ending that we all wanted, but at least they are OK, we finally ASSuMEd that they had passed. I don't know where they are, but we have done multiple cross-country trips, and we always felt bad going thru Surprise, knowing that was the last address they had.
We tried, we really did.
Michael Krebs.

Michael,
I know that you tried hard to find them from the posts you made. It is only fate that they found a post I made on FMCA forum regarding your find. It is unfortunate that they will not get the papers back but then let them be in peace knowing that the papers are not floating around out there for some ID Thief to take advantage of.
You did what had to be done.
It is what it is, and then it is what you make of it.
Thanks for the post, and the PM.
