We were recently traveling in the Florida panhandle when the refr. decided to quit working on gas. I consulted my Mechanic's helper section of my FMCA directory and found a member in Pensacola who directed me to Carpenter's Campers which was right on the way. We stopped and although they were busy, our refr. was repaired and we were on the road in less than half an hour. I have used the directory before with similar results. So, always have your directory with you when on the road. Also it costs nothing to sign up as a mechanic's helper who could save another member time and money by being directed to the best shop in your area.

Is that directory something we have to order or did I miss something in the magazine they first sent me when I joined?

It's always available on-line at FMCA.com, but you will need to log in as a member. From there go to director, then search, then enter city and check mech helper. I believe it is also published in every January issue of the FMCA mag. I can't check mine right now as it's in the coach, which is in for warranty service.

Thank you appreciate the information. I have my jan mag but thought it was only listing members from different areas and or states. I will look into it further. Thanks
