I'm glad they were found safe. Just goes to show, always leave an itinerary with someone or stay in contact when on the road.

I'm sorry, but this wasn't their family, it was some friends of theirs. Maybe they went to Big Bend (we saw them as we were leaving west Texas at a rest area - hard not to remember that coach and license plate) and there is no cell service there and they might not have known it. Or maybe they just shut off the phones to get away from their 'friends' for a few days. And if their friends can't go 2 weeks without being in contact, maybe that is why they wanted to get away from them! Too much Big Brother if we have to keep friends and acquaintances apprised of where we are going every minute of every day - we don't necessarily know ourselves until we come to that bend in the road!
