Did anyone send for a quote for Insurance offered by FMCA on their Motorhome, and/or other vehicles?

I did and was surprised the Motorhome itself was indeed cheaper by about $250 annually, but my other two vehicles was quite abit more.

No, it's not GMAC. It's called Aon Recreation Insurance. I received the advertisement in the mail from FMCA. I assume all members received one.

Their web page is aonrecreation.com/fmca

I believe Aon Insurance was formerly known as Alexander & Alexander Inc.

I have a couple of cars, a small business, home-owners and the motorhome with Auto Owners through an independant agent locally. I recently sent for motorhome quotes from GMAC, Progressive and AON. AON was the least expensive of the group at about 1.5 times my current rate, Progressive next at about 2 times, and GMAC almost 3 times as much. Guess I will stick with what we have. It does pay to shop around frequently though. Apparently the multiple policy discounts are quite helpful.

Wow,I tried to get a better rate with them as I don't like GMAC that much but they still were the lowest for me.Don't know why? Maybe I'll try them again.Whats that old saying about try again? Yep,me try again
I got hold of them the 16th and as of yet,No answer so I can assume the answer is,no.My guess is they got enough business and don't need mine. O well!

We have Auto Owner for all our business and other autos, but for the MH we went to Progressive, they had the replacement policy. At the time Auto Owners did not.
We used them when we had a flat tire in the Mt. Rainier area of Wa. We were so impress with their care and promptness and because it was road service, it did not effect the clause that lowers the premium each year if no claim is made. We will stay with Progressive.

I called them 3 days ago and left my name and number as that is the only option they gave me. So far I have not heard from them. That is strange to me, but I guess I will just keep my GMAC policy. At least they call me back.

I had GMAC now for around 8-9 Years. I had it with Camping World. I dropped my membership because they screwed my insurance up and I have delt with them by myself. I saw in the services list in Januarys mag that GMAC is listed so I'm going to get it that way. Don't know if they get as good a discount as CW but I have had a good relationship with them [GMAC] but have had problems almost everytime I deal with CW. In Tucson they seem to change salesman about every six months, so If you get a good one today, about six months later you have a problem and you are dealing with a newbe who hasn't a clue about you or rving or what day of the month,ect..ect..
I've had a better relationship dealing with them direct so If they ask I will tell them FMCA and see what I get.
Update,Went up about $50.00 for the next six months. Not to bad.
At least I GOT what I wanted and I know that I'm insured, no guess work.
Update: Filled out new insurance co. forms waiting to hear back. Waiting...

I change insurance companies every once in a while because of rate changes. with stick home, three cars, truck, motorhome, it pays. I now use Auto Owners in Michigan for house and two cars and a truck. I use Good Sam for car in Florida. Progressive for Motorhome in Montana.
Indepentant company for property it Florida. No matter what I could not get someone to handle all of them together. Cheaper to do it this way than together.
