Wondering if it would be possible for DH to workcamp while I'm at the hospital working.

The girls would be 10 and 12 at the time, so they are reasonably "self sufficient," and dad would be nearby.

We don't. But a couple of years ago there was a young (to us) couple who were full timers and work camped at our local National Forest camp ground. They spent the summers up North and the winters somewhere in the South. Worked well for them. As I remember it the kids went to school during the winter at a brick and mortar building. Do you plan on homeschooling? Do the girls have their own beds? and a place to do home work?

I did camphosting for the summer for 3 years with 3 kids My wife was working and came out in the evening and had 3 day weekends we all enjoyed it the kids are grown now but still talk about the fun they had.Bob
