Oak Harbor RV Park is looking for a workamper starting immediately. Office work (registration, boat rental, cabin rental, etc), also cabin/restroom cleaning. 20 Hours a week will get full hook up site - including electric (this is a plus for Florida) - Campground on a 1000 acre lake, bigmouth bass abound. Family owned and run - great owners. This can run into the winter months if desired - mostly snowbirds here so the summer is super slow. In the middle of an orange grove - 5 miles from all the stores (Lowes, Walmart, Publix, etc). Location is Haines City, Fl - close to Orlando.

Keep in mind that central Florida is HOT and HUMID during the summer months. Do not want to work out doors in the summer.

Couple of things.
* People do live in Florida during the summer
* The position calls for office work, boat rental, cabin/rest room cleaning - these things are usually inside I believe.
* If you can't go outside in Florida during the summer I would recommend you move to Alaska - A/C hopefully works in most homes and RV's.
* Working outside (I do - by choice) is managed best by working around the heat of the day = early morning and then evening.
* I was raised further South than Central Florida - humidity is humidity whether it be in Florida or Maryland -
* It's not for everyone - BUT if you want to work in Florida during the winter months (like most everyone else) summer jobs make it easier to get a foot in the door.
* We spent the past 3 summers working in Maine - it was great, but for me the warmer climate (even the summers) offer more - my boat does very well during the summer also.
To each their own - JMO
