My wife and I are going to be seasonal workers at WDW (Jan, Feb, Mar '09). Can anyone give us their input on this adventure?
Thanks,
Big Sid

My wife and I worked at Disney for two seasons at the Wide World of Sports during the Atlanta Braves Spring Training season. You will not make big money, but you will have the run of the parks with your Disney ID Card.
The people in charge of the Wide World of Sports area for the most part didn't know much about managing people and it showed. Those of us with management backgrounds worked hard to keep our mouths shut.
If oyu have the chance and the desire to try working for Disney, go for it. Would we do it again, I doubt it.

My wife and I worked in WDW Jan-Apr 07. We worked 2-3 days/wk for about 8 hrs days. We worked at MGM Studio. Wife sold merchandise, and I worked in Costuming on the Fantasmic show. Wages are not much but as mentioned, having the run of the all the parks was our motivation for working there. Don't want to do it every winter, but we may do it again in 2010.
We stayed at Outdoor Resorts of Orlando, not part of the chain. We liked the park, except it did not have an on site laundry.
Don't believe that Disney Wilderness has monthly rates and staying on the daily rate would be quite expensive.
