Have found a workkamping position in the wonderful hill country of Texas, Bandera the Cowboy Capital of the World.
It is a first for me and a first for the park owners. We are moving along although slowly. There last manager has been here 20 yrs and is in her 80's.
Words of advice?

Carolyn

Ok...Maybe the chicken mask is a little scary to guests... I have been in retail all my life, 44 years since I first bagged groceries at Publix in Palm Beach Gardens Fl. I now own, don't work much, a large store in Charlotte NC...My # 1 rule when working with the public. "BE NICE". #2. Under promise, over deliver....Good Luck and keep us updated.

Guess I need to change my avatar. The story behind it is I won a Texas Hold'em Tourny and got a trophy. It was a Boomer event. The next year I showed up with the chicken mask as my "poker face" You can't see it but the card on the table are a royal straight flush. But that has been several fun things away and now time to move on to more fun. lol The biggest job I have yesterday at workkamping was to attend a wine and cheese event last evening with the ladies, sure can learn a lot when the wine is flowing,. lol

Did you just have to bring the cheese to the whining? Just kidding.

Glad you are having fund and enjoying yourself. I hope it doesn't keep you away from the Boomer events.
