First Summer Workamping at Lake Placid KOA

WOW! Got into Lake Placid/ Wilmington NY April 27th record flooding April 28th? Felt like we were back in Mississippi? After the rains beautiful Adirondack sun! Snow still on Whiteface Mt., campground is great Ausable River runs right thru it! Goin fishin on days off! Gonna get to do hayride lots to do! Lovin it DW runs snack bar homemade Michigan sauce comin in June. Hope everyone else has a good workamp summer!

We love it up there. Like the mini brewery/steak house in Lake Placid too. Don't forget to run up to Plattsburgh and explore the Ausable Chasm.....mighty impressive and pretty close to you. Might see you this summer, if we can make it. Have a great time.

We'll be here till at least Labor Day maybe staying for the Octoberfest! Been to the All American Steakhouse twice sampler once now the big mugs! We are actually from Poughkeepsie and my wife grew up in Ticonderoga so it's like being home. Hope to see ya-all alwys cold ones in the cooler this week Long Trail(Vermont) and Saranac Sampler!
