We have decided to work in the Pacific Northwest this summer. We have some leads in Oregon. One is at Wildwood Campground as volunteers. Its about 39 miles outside Portland. It looks to be at the base of Mt. Hood. We are excited but, as always, apprehensive about going to a place sight unseen. Anybody worked in Oregon BLM, FS, or state parks? This is a two- or three-month commitment (she has several hosts with different schedules) and we are wondering where we might want to go after this!

Have you made a decision yet? If you have not I will try to contact a couple I know who worked in the parks last summer and loved it. I will get them to register on here and then post their experiences.
