Golf & RV Resort is looking for work campers

My husband & I are starting our 4th season here at Sage Hills Golf & RV Resort. I guess that means we really love it here, and we have 3 returning work campers coming back this year.

This year we (they) are looking for more work campers - for a variety of jobs including course maintenance (mowing, trimming, bunkers, etc.), restaurant/bar (cooking, wait staff, bartenders) and cleaning restrooms/showers/laundry room. Starting ASAP

Work campers work an average of 12 hours per person for a couple (24 for a single) per week and they get their site, electricity, sewer, water, free WiFi, 20% discount on items in the Pro-Shop & Restaurant and propane. The bonus is all the golf you can play with a cart (when carts are available). Happy team players who will help make sure each of our guests has a memorable experience here.

Sage Hills Golf & RV Resort is close to good shopping, farmers' markets, cultural events, fishing, and more. You can take a look at Sage Hills and can contact Ken at (509) 349 2603 or by email at ken@sagehills.com.

It's in the Columbia Basin, WA. We are in Warden, WA - just 12 miles south of Moses Lake.

You make it sound interesting. Do they cause you to receive a 1099 for the free space, or is it really free, for your volunteer work? Also have trouble getting a readable copy of camp rules. the page is black. Sounds as though it could be very enjoyable. Are there any annoyances like bugs, mosquitos, snakes, mice, rats, or things we should be ready for?

It is really free. There are no 1099's.

It is a wonderful place to be. Things to be aware of; we are out in the high desert in a agricultural area. There can be, if the wind is just right, some animal "aroma" issues but nothing we haven't learned to live with. There are bugs, there can be snakes but I haven't seen a live one yet. Mice, yes but nothing horrible. We do have wildlife - ground squirrels, regular squirrels, deer, coyotes, and badgers (mostly on the course and seldom seen). Hawks, owls, and lots of different birds make there summer home here.

If you would like to PM me your email address I can email you the rules and the work camper info. We are anxious to get some more people on board!

Sage Hills is about 100 miles from our summer home. A nice golf course and it is only 15 miles to the Potholes Reservoir and Scab Lakes. Great Bass, trout and perch fishing.
90 miles to Grand Coulee Dam and Lake FDR >150 miles long with over 600 miles of shore line.

Thank you. We are in the process of making lots of improvements to the course and property! The course is going to be even better.
