As a former visitor to the Santa Rosa area to see family I always liked the campground and the previous hosts were pleasantly helpful and polite. It is a large gravel lot with some trees. The park and area felt safe and secure.

With that being said, I am wondering if the campground is still being used for FEMA shelter after last year's fires. FEMA bought up all the trailers in the area and placed them at the campground. It became more of a permanent park other than a campground to stay at while exploring the area.

Kip, FEMA’s contract is up mid April. So at that time the RV park should be back to what it’s original intention. We do need to thank Sonoma County for supplying an area to house fire victims for this amount of time. But to answer your question, no, this RV Park will not become permanent housing. We still offer reservation period up to 28 days. After that period you must vacate the park for three days before making another reservation.

I am glad to hear that, as I will be returning to the area. I have always enjoyed the park and very happy that it was there for those in need.

We are on a rotation with two other couples so we work/are on call two days and off four. No cleaning, just office reservations and directing guests to their sites.
