Galen, Welcome to irv2.com and your first post. Sorry it brings bad news, but the winter population of the RGV increases by 10's of thousands. Such jobs are quite difficult to land but perseverance may prevail.

I think the best option is subscribe to workcamper by visiting their website. My cousin and her husband wintered in RGV for over 10 years. They said workcampers at their RV park contract for next winter before leaving this spring.

Plus December is a little late to start workamping. Most of the workers I know start their time in late Oct or very early Nov. Dec is when the biggest influx of Winter Texans arrive. Good luck.
Llano Grande was looking for workampers, but may be filled by now.
