The program knob on our Slendide washer/dryer keeps spinning around after we lost power. I have tried to reset but no luck is there anything else I can do before I call a repairman?

I have no idea what could cause this, but I have a suggestion. If the knob is an electronic switch, try unplugging the machine for about 1 minute and see if it will reset. If it is a rotory switch, is there an allen wrench set screw in the knob that has come loose allowing it to spin? If so tighten up the set screw.

Would probably get lots more interest and helpful answers if the question were in the proper area and not under "Workkamping"
