Volunteers needed in Western Maryland

We have two positions available for either a single or a couple at the C&O Canal National Historical Park. We provide a free campsite with hook-up, cable TV, and sewer as well as access to laundromat and store. The job entails staffing our visitor center information desk at Williamsport, Maryland or Hancock, Maryland. The Williamsport position starts May 1 through July 31 and the Hancock position starts June 1 through August 31. Volunteer provides information on the park, orientation, and history on our park. They also assist with special projects and do some walking on the trails where they interact with visitors too. In order to qualify for free campsite, volunteer must work four 8-hour days a week.
