Saturday April 12th - In the aftermath of Katrina in Waveland, Ms.
Broken dreams. This client came to us today for us to take over the construction of their home that they had started a year ago by themselves but the management of the sub-contractors just became too much trying to do it "long distance". So we we will be taking over using a combination of sub-contractors and volunteers to keep within the restricted budget. This is a very common problem we are seeing more and more here in the aftermath of the recovery - unfinished dreams.
We are always urgently in need of volunteers - both skilled in construction and unskilled. We have 17 spots for RV campers along with volunteer housing for up to 200. The camp is about 4 blocks from the Gulf Coast Beach near Waveland, Ms.
