Work Camper Needed In Texas

I have a Work Camp position available beginning in March in exchange for Rent and Utilities including cable. I would need someone to do check in of pull through guests as well as check out of full time guests, collecting fees and rents, cleaning of 2 bathrooms and maintaining cleanliness of laundry room and office. Update on Face book and Twitter occasionally, minimum website updating (wysiwyg program), End of the Month Balancing including reading of electrical meters for full time employees. Computer skills are required.

Hours would be less than 5 hours per week on average. No mechanical or electrical maintenance required.

Job is perfect for retired couple. The Mount Vernon Area is a historical area with 3 lakes around the park to fish, boat and swim in, as well as shopping and other recreational parks near by.

Please PM me if you are interested with your name, date you can start, phone number to reach you and how many months/years experience you have as well as how long you would be willing to commit to the position for. Preference will be giving to long term applicants.

Thanks

RW

Is that a day or week? Restrooms and Laundry cleaned everyday and do it in 5 hours per week...I know a couple that might be interested... but I don't see how you can do all those tasks in 5 hours per week average... You might want to make that claer in your thread. D

Five hrs/wk?? Try again with that estimate employer-boy.
We did evening checkin two days/week, that was our 20 hr wk. Yes, for two people, one did check in/phone reservations, one parked guests and handled problems. No multi-tasking. NO cleaning a toilet while I was waiting for guests to arrive, no piddling with a website that really ought to require a little concentration, no mopping in between editing and registering, no meter reading, no cornering monthly renters. Don't bite this dog, not until they have better specs of the job.

Thanks that's what I thought...

The job has been filled. But thanks for your hostility, I mean hospitality.

RW,

Hang tough, I kind of sort the 5 hours looked funny too. I did make an effort to figure out what and where the CG was located or its name and came up with nil. But there are good folks out there that are looking for and do appreciate a good volunteer position.

My DW and I did volunteer this past summer at a COE CG in Thompson CT. We worked 2 days a week at a small 22 site CG that included cleaning the baths (1 shower stall and 2 johns x 2, male & female). The baths alone took a good 2-3 hours on the two days. But then again, we actually cleaned them. We cleaned once a day and then checked them a couple other times for any issues. Then we did basic site cleanup after checkouts, cleaned sites for booked check ins plus handled walk-ups. So yes the 5 hours does raise an eyebrow or two.

No need for sarcasm.

No need for the earlier hostility either. I'd call it a draw.
