Hello all,
has anyone worked recently at Dollywood? I understand that they have a Work Camper program that allows for temporary work. Of course you would have to rent your own campsite nearby. Please give us any info you have if you have worked there.

Thanks,

We ourselves have never done the Dollywood thing, but we met some folks who are currently doing it. They said the Dollywood people are real nice. They ask for at least a six weeks commitment. They are a husband and wife and they usually get to work at the same time. Hope this helps.

Met a couple in Fla this past winter and they have worked a few years now. As a previous post you have to get a camp site elsewhere and the pay isn't that great but they said they got alot of perks in the park that you can take advantage of. Hope this helps.

We were recruited by Dollywood Reps at 2008 FMCA Rally in Brooksville FL. Thought we'd try it for the minimum time of 6 weeks. This is our 4th summer working at Dollywood. After the 6 weeks of the first year, we've come back for 3 or 4 months. The PERKS are beyond Dollywood itself, tourist attraction places from Sevierville to Gatlinburg TN and even outside the area. Also free tickets for family and friends. We (wife and I) generally work the same hours (sometimes long hours), 3 or 4 days a week. Our Team Leader will schedule time off with notice before next work schedule is made up. There are a variety of jobs. Pay is not great, but it pays for our camping expenses at a nearby campground (monthly rate). We love the Smoky Mountain area.
