4,000 watt peak Champion generator $270 @ Cabelas
I got a flyer in the mail about a Door Buster sale at Cabelas on December 13 starting at 8am.
One of the featured products is a Champion Weekender generator, 3500 watts/4000 peak, with cover and wheel kit, for $269.99.
If this is the wrong forum for this announcement, i hope it gets moved to the correct one.

I think that for $270, that really goes without saying.

Too bad the Champion 3000 watt inverter generator is not on sale. That's the honey.
I've seen them as low as $750 on Wayfair.com with a first time discount coupon. Internet has them at around $850 which is far, far less than the comparable Honda or Yamaha inverter generators.
Champion may be Chinese, but customer service is great, and they're very highly ranked by their customers.

Will be fine if you camp alone with no one within a half mile or so. If others are around, buy a Honda EU series.
We dry camp in Key West and the campground shuts down the Champions due to noise level.

We're fortunate enough to be able to stay on the Navy property at Sigsbee. Great place but restricted to military personnel.

I have one of the champion 4000s and it does a good job when we can't plug in to shore power. It runs the 15000 btu ac along with tv,lights, ice box at the same time but have to turn ac off for microwave or water heater. Runs for around 12 hrs on 3.8 gallons of gas. My buddy's each have one at the deer camp for three years. They're not as quiet as the Hondas units. I've used mine for power outages for my home too.

I love mine too. Ocean state job lot has them for $499, comes with a $300 gift card. I purchased mine from Cabelas about 5 years ago. I bet it has a 1000 hours on it. Not one problem so far. I know their tech support is the best if needed.
