Yah... and then I'll load it up with a bunch of kids for halloween & head to the rich neighborhoods to get the good candy!
Cause that's how I roll.

We should be neighbors... cause the hot fudge I hand out would go great with your ice cream.

How do you keep it from running thru your fingers when you "hand" it out?

I use a nice big ladle to dish it out to the kiddos. Jello shots for the parent though, cause I know they could use one or 5.

I've been looking for one of the old campfire coffee pots. My mom had the old perc for the gas stove but she doesn't have it anymore. I've seen those cheap ones at WallyWorld, but they look like they'd melt if you put any heat on them. There's a big flea market every month close to where I live I'm going to next month.

You mean the blue porcelain ones with the white speckles? I can picture one, but I don't remember where I saw it and a matching cup.

My dad had one of these... the metal seemed thin but it never had any issues. He would heat it on the stove and then stick it on the rocks by the firepit to keep it warm.

It you take a paper cup full of water and sit it in a camp fire, it will not burn lower than the water level in the cup. The same with a cup of gasoline. The fumes will burn, but not the gasoline.

Used to win bets about boiling water in a paper cup all the time. You get ash in your tea/coffee though. An old Army cook went on campouts with our scout troop. He'd put coffee pot on the fire, just water and coffee grounds. After the water was hot, he'd throw in an egg shell to 'settle the grounds.' You could chew his coffee.
