I have a 1999 coachman class A motorhome with steel covers on the front wheels; The other motorhome I had all you had to do was take a pare of pliers and remove the chrome nut covers to get at the wheel nuts,
The nut covers don't come off these wheel covers; how the heck do I get these wheel covers off?

robert h, try every other lug nut cover. Usually, the ones that come off are the ones with little round dimples on one face (side).

There are two with dimples; across from each other; I put the channel locks on them they move, but won;t come off; maybe I'm not putting enough pressure on them, but they are bending, it looks kike I;ll ruin them when I put too much pressure on them, I can replace them if this is the way to get the cover off. If I was sure this was the way to get the cover off I'd go ahead and rip them off. I just bought this motorhome so I'm not familar with it.

Robert H. The two covers with the dimples have a threaded nut in them and you need I believe a 1 9/16 socket to remove them they are tight, I had a repair shop put mine back on with an impact gun and I had a heck of a time removing them.

Those covers are $180.00 per copy Tap the nut covers with a wrench and the two that have to be removed have a different sound to them. Lyle

I had terrible loud Squeaking coming from my stainless steel wheel covers. I removed the dimpled lugs with the lug wrench that come with the coach and reinstalled with a 1/4" foam weatherstripping around the perimeter of the rims and pcs between the lug nuts. No more squeaking. Just wanted to pass this on.
