Whats great is we can all make the decision to tow or not,
that best suites our needs.

To each his own sort of thing. One is not THE BEST, a lot depends on the coach you own. Larger or smaller. Deciding if the convenience of a toad outways the renting a car when you get there or vice a versa.

There is not a pat answer yes or no, it boils down to a lot of research, trips and evaluating these trips whether a toad would have enhanced your enjoyment and convenience along the way or not.

My self, I could not imagine myself without a toad as I am now a senior, maybe 30 or so years ago I might have a different opinion, so I think age might have a factor also.

can't say it better than that... I would still be anti-toad and not even consider towing anything if I still had my 35' coach. With my 44' coach I still don't WANT to pull the jeep, but I didn't want to sacrifice what we might miss if we only went where the coach takes us.

We are going to Houston for Thanksgiving with relatives, and we will not be taking the toad... But in 45 days when we head out on the full timing great adventure, it will be attached.

We fought towing for a long time, until we were in Fla. once and couldn't find a car rental except at the airport. We only had the 35' mh to pick it up, a harrowing experience to say the least. Bought a used Hyundai to tow and love it. Once in a while if my daughter comes along with her hubby and two kids in car seat, we still rent a van.
