I ran across this just now and thought it was a neat idea. I might get one. A great way to save money on laundry if you don't produce much dirty laundry (ie: 1-2 people) or to wash up something quickly if you need it without having to go to a laundromat. It says it uses less water than hand washing and uses pressure to force the soap into the fabrics.
Has anyone here tried this product and if so, what results did you get from it?

What's the alternative for a dryer??
Save some $$s and use a 5 gallon bucket placed in the shower before hitting the road in the morning.
No, we never tried this.

The same site has small counter top electric dryers for $70 that runs on 120v: http://www.laundry-alternative.com/d...ategory=drying
You could also air dry for free if it's a nice day out, or if you have a place to hang stuff indoors, or even just dry at a laundromat since dryers are always a fraction of the cost of a washer.
I don't have a shower in my trailer so I can't really use your idea. Best I can do is use the small single basin sink. Also I don't have a water heater so I will have to simply heat water up on the stove in a large cooking pot with handles I have and then pour it into the sink (with a stopper). This is true of washing hands and dishes as well, and for any use for hot/warm water.

I tried ordering one of these from laundry-alternative. They seem to be perpetually out of stock and of course they don't tell you this when you order. I then did a lot of research online and found quite a few people posting their negative experiences with the laundry-alternative company. The people who did have a wonderwash seem to like them but right now I'm searching for somewhere else to buy them, a company that actually has them in stock.

Ok, I finally broke down and tried again to order the Wonder Washer from Laundry Alternative. I also ordered the small spin dryer, both to carry in the RV and even in the house for small loads.
This time we received them. The short take on them is that they do work. The loads are small, especially in the spin dryer but the Wonder Wash does an adequate job of washing, again, that's an adequate job, not a great job. But, it does work as advertised. We have found that for especially dirty clothes that soaking for two or three hours works really well. The spin dryer takes out most of the water and the clothes will dry very fast if you hang them.
All in all, they both work. They are a very reasonable and portable laundry method. They are especially nice for the RV but we have found that we also use them in the house at times.
A week after ours arrived, the spin dryer quit working so I called Laundry-Alternative and found their service to be very good. They promptly shipped out a new dryer to us and did so wihtout argument or resistance on their part. I was impressed with the service.
So, if you've looked at their product, I can tell you that the Wonder Wash is a handy item and works reasonably well. The spin dryer is a handy addition with the old downside being the very small load that it will spin at a time. One full load in the Wonder Wash will mean two loads in the spin dryer.
They have a larger spin dryer but I didn't want to take up even more room in the RV so I went for the smaller one. I don't know if it was a good move or not, definitely the larger spin dryer would be handier but it will also take up a lot more room when storage is already an issue.

Race Dog, what is the verdict on the WonderWash and the small spin dryer? Does it work for you? Do you wish you had gone with the bigger spin dryer?
