We sometimes travel through Arkansas when heading to the Great Lakes area and have a favorite campground in (near) Little Rock. It is a Corp of Engineer park named Maumelle Park. Very nice and scenic. We have only overnighted there, but it would be nice for a long stay especially if you fish.

Two Bit,
You are right about Maumelle. It is very nice. We have been there many times and highly recommend it. Area A of the park also has 50amp. You really can't get a bad site there. Maumelle is off of I-430 on the west side of Little Rock and there is a smaller COE park on the east side of North Little Rock called Willow Beach which has 30/50 amp service. Both are handy to many things to see and do in Little Rock.
Happy Camping

We recently spent a week or so at the Toad Suck Corps of Engineers park near Conway, Arkansas. Great paved site with 50 amp electric & water and a dump station, our site was right on the river with great views.
