Are there any California State Parks that can handle a 36' diesel pusher?

Thanks, Rick Coleman

This isn't a California State Park, but it is a Ventura County Park and we really enjoyed a five day stay recently. It is Faria Beach County Park. Really nice; right on the beach. It is $40 a night for hookups and $27 a night for dry camping. Both are equally as nice. We are sure going back in the future. There are no reservations; first come first served, so show up early on a weekday, if you can. Although the Trailer Life directory says 28' is the maximum length, a 36' should easily fit in with slides. We have a 34' fifth with three slides and had no problem.

Hello Rick and Sue,

Here is a link for all of the State parks.

http://www.parks.ca.gov/

Click on "find a park", under web pages "All parks and points of interest" click go, then chose "facilities", there you can sort by "Camper" size.

I don't know where you want to go. Patty and I are going to check out Huntington Beach, it is a city park open only during the fall thru spring, and San Clemente State (Max length 30') beach this winter.

I think that you can sneak into parks that have a 35' max, but I would check them out first. Yosemite NP Wawona campground has a 35' limit and we see 40'ers in there all the time.
