Any advice for possibly going camping with a baby under a year old? Should we have our heads examined?

Joe

we took our grand baby all the time, from when she was 8 months to now 8 years old
lots of clean water for the baby
lots of baby wipes
sunscreen
extra change of clothes

when she was real small we planned events that were around 1 hr so she could rest and hydrate, hot summer cool breaks were a must
mosquito netting, but we never put off or anything on her, instead we used a bug light or something to draw them away from her.

she now loves to go camping and be outdoors

Thanks Powerboatr. Good advice on the bug light too. We should have bought stock in babywipes. We use them for everything. Still have them stashed in each of our cars for our 3yr old.

it's much easier to camp with a 8 month old than an 8 year old! At least you are still in control.
