Just a note to all FCRVers who visit this page that Campvention 2006 will be held in the Town of Blyth, located in central Ontario from July 7 to the 14th, 2006. A great program is being planned and there will be activities all week long for all ages.
You can see more about this campout at the national web page.
We hope to see lots of families attending.

Is this going to be row-style parking? will the site have electric? if not electric, then what are the restrictions on generator use?

Every site will have electric and water as long as you have at least 50 ft of extension and hoses.
Hope yopu might be able to come George. Camy and I went for a drive today just to survey the site ans they have made all of the promised upgrades to the site.WE will have over 800 sites with water and electricity. All of the new 400 sites they added have 30 amp power.
If you check out the web site and then click on Campventions you sill see the write up there and you can see some pictures of this past year held in West Virginia.

We are anticipating coming to Canada.We have never been there. Enjoyed the last three campventions we have been to. Of course Berrien Springs Was the best since our region put it on. LOL. Just kidding Hugh. In case you don't recognize the name we are the Indiana State Photographers and did the C/D in 2004

We look forward to hosting you when you visit. It will be a good Campvention.LOL We will compare the two after. Vicki and Marilyn and their teams did a great job and we had a great time in Michigan. Great site there in Berien Springs. You will have a good time in Blyth, Ontario.

Just to update all FCRV'ers, that planning is well underway and things look towards a great campvention.We already have 400 registrations and they are still coming in fast. Remember we only have services for the first 800 so don't wait too long.The Township will be organizing a marching band tattoo for the Sunday afternon, so this will be some thing new.

We are trying to get a local wifi system set up, but not sure yet. If I can get the cable installed a member will bring the wireless equipment.
By the way we have almost 500 pre registered as of today.

Looks like we will ahve WIFI available at the campgrounds. Registration is now at 650 and climbing about 30+ per week so still hope to hit about 800 units. WE WILL have a great time in Blyth.

We are at the 700 level and still climbing. The last few campventions have had about 100 come not preregistered, so that looks good for 800 which was our original target.
Make sure you say hi to us, as we will be VERY busy.LOL
